At the same time, Aldebaran burns his Cosmo and regrows his broken horn, overpowering Hercules for a brief moment before he retreats.
Realizing that Yggdrasil is the source of evil, Mu easily breaks free from the roots and regroups with Aioria before attacking Fafner, who escapes. Launching an attack at the civilians instead, Aldebaran moves in the way and deflects the attack. As Hercules attacks Aldebaran, the Gold Saints does not make a move which infuriates the God Warrior. Mu ambush the God Warrior revealed to be Fafner and is easily defeated before being taken for experimenting by binding him to the roots of Yggdrasil. Leaving him to Aldebaran due to his previous loss during the last battle between Athena's Saints and Asgard, Dohko watches from the tribune as Aldebaran dons his Taurus Cloth. Before they have time for further talk, the God Warrior Hercules confronts them and challenge them. As they rendezvous at a bar, the Gold Saints discuss their revival in Asgard.
Meanwhile, at an arena, Aldebaran encounters Dohko who is fighting several Asgardian soldiers for fun. Discussing a God Warrior with a dragon-shaped God Robe, Mu asks Lyfia to remain in the village and recover while he dealt with the God Warrior. Shortly after, Mu arrives and informs her that he arrived a few days ago in the village which seemed like everyone had disappeared. As she recovers in an empty village, she meets a young boy who gives her something to drink. It is unknown if Loki was sealed back inside the Draupnir of if he was completely destroyed.Leaving Aioria to rest after his battle, Lyfia ventures out to find water or food, eventually falling unconcsious in the snow. But then, Athena, who was still trapped in the Elysium, drops petals that are soaked with her blood, which makes the twelve Gold Saints use their God Clothes and fight Loki more equally.Īfter a fiercous battle, the twelve Gold Saints are able to ultimately defeat Loki with the cosmo energy given from Lyfia and the rest of the earth by using the Draupnir. Despite coming back, the Saints aren't able to fight against Loki, who became stronger after taking the Spear of Gungnir. But then, the twelve Gold Saints come back (thanks to Lifya's prayers and to the strategy of Aphrodite) and faces him. The Gold Saint manages to be at the same level of Loki, but in the end, the god ends up taking the Spear of Gungnir and destroys both Aiolia and Aiolos, and then he proceeds to cause havoc and destruction in the whole land of Asgard. But then, Odin uses Lifya as his vessel to communicate to the two Gold Saints and decides to give his legendary cloth to Aiolia. Loki then battles Aiolia and Aiolos, who have difficulties to battle the deity without their clothes.
In the end, Saga, Mu, and Dohko use the secret technique known as Athena Exclamation to take Loki down, but he built a Cloth as a reserve plan to come back. After all the Gods Warriors have been defeated by the Gold Saints (with Frodi deciding to rebel against him), Aiolia, Mu, Dohko, Saga and Shaka face Andreas and force Loki to awake. He leads the God Warriors of Asgard and builds the Odin Sapphires in order to control their minds when Loki wanted. To win against Odin, he expects Athena and Hades to start a war for their armies to weaken, and with it, the gold saints could die and be revived by him through life (for it is a grave sin revive someone for Asgardians) to bring their clothes, which serve to supply the Yggdrasil, which spring up the Spear of Gungnir. Loki, after being released from an amphora by Andreas Riise, takes over his body and uses it to become a religious leader of Asgard. He is known to be the false god of Asgard, who tries to dominate the land. Hegemonic Deity Loki is the main antagonist of Saint Seiya: Soul Of Gold.
